Which Books Should I Read? (Whats your favorite book?)?
I got lots of time, I'm free 24 hours a day, so I just want you to tell me what do you think I should read, I like Metal music, so do you know any books related to metal, you know got the same theme, like stories, I dont know, just tell me whats your favorite book or books.
Try Joe Hill's new book Heart Shaped Box. He is Stephen King's son and he is really talented. He named the book after Nirvana's song. He makes alot of references to metal in the book. Its about a middle aged rockstar who collects eerie and macabre objects. Well he buys a supposively haunted suit online and Ill stop there. Good scary book. Cant go wrong.
As for other books I enjoyed:

The greatest book that has themes that relate to Metal music is The Maidens of Iron and Steel by Holmgren Magnusson. It might not be in print anymore–it came out in 1986 or 1987, but you will never find a better book if you are into metal. Check amazon or a similar site.

My favorite Author is Charlie Huston. he has a trilogy of books out about a character named Henry Thompson (Caught Stealing, Six Bad Things, and A Dangerous Man).
He also has another 5 part book series (only 3 are out so far) the titles are "Already Dead", "No Dominion", and " Half the Blood of Brooklyn" they're about a character named Joe Pitt, he's a Dectective who happens to be a vampire. and it's a very realistic take on vampires.
- "The Winter of Frankie Machine", "California Fire and Life", "The Death and Life of Bobby Z", and "The Power of The Dog" all of those are by Don Winslow.
